Commentary

The Strikers falling short off the last over here and they have given an amazing fight here. From being in a place where they could have lost by a big margin they have fallen short by only 12 runs. Mack, is surely going to be applauded for her innings as she played a match winnings knock and held the team together right from the first ball here. She almost made the team win but fell short by just a margin here alongside the innings of Wolvaardt who also made an impressive 40 runs on the board here. The Scorchers with an excellent bowling performance as well by taking the wickets on the other end of Mack and getting the team under some solid pressure. The skipper, Graham and Kapp getting the wickets for the team. Mooney looked to have missed a few stumpings and run out chances which gave the Strikers a big leverage in this one and she will go back to the training sessions to comeback even stronger for sure. The Perth Scorchers are going to the top of the table and they will look to sustain that position for the matches to come. As of now, its a celebration in the dug out for them.
