That will be it from us at Sportskeeda as another exciting ODI Series comes to an end although the result would make it seem one-sided but it was really close if you look at the moments throughout the series. It was an absolute pleasure of bringing the coverage to you and would hope you enjoyed it as much as we did bringing it to you. So until next time, this is me Anavit alongside Bala taking your leave. Take care and Stay safe!

Afghanistan beat Netherlands by 75 runs to take the series 3-0!
Afghanistan won the toss and yet again decided to bat first. They posted a competitive 254 on the board for the loss of 5 wickets courtesy of Hasan, Shah and Zadran’s crucial knocks which turned out to be too good for Netherlands who failed yet again to chase the target down. Colin Ackermann opened the innings today in the absence of Musa Ahmed with Scott Edwards.

The Dutch openers really showed resilience, tenacity and skill today with their stupendous strokeplay. Scored the highest opening partnership for the series as they brought 100 up in the 22nd over. Edwards was dropped early on by Zadran but he made it count by bringing up his 3rd fifty of the series. But the moment he fell, the procession followed and Afghanistan just knocked each one sooner than expected and the side rolled over pretty quickly with Ackermann making a brave 81 off 96 deliveries that consisted off 7 boundaries and couple of maximums. The worrying sign was no.3,4 and 5 put up a total of 11 runs together and that turned out to be the difference between the two teams.

Qais Ahmed broke the door wide open in his maiden one-day international match and bowled like he is already a 50-match veteran. The wickets were shared by all of them as Rashid Khan was finally among the wickets after failing to claim any in the previous match.

Netherlands should take some pride and look back at the positives they claimed throughout the series. Scott Edwards scoring more than 200 runs in the series is definitely the one. Afghanistan have clean-swept the series 3-0 and take all the Super League points on offer (30).
103-0 to 179-10 has been the story of the Netherlands innings and that will pinch them big time and would be a bitter pill to swallow at the moment
That will be it and in the blink of an eye, Netherlands lower order has been blown away by the Afghans!
42.4 Qais Ahmad to Vivian Kingma, OUT! And a flip by Qais Ahmad! Afghanistan wrap it up! Deceives the batter with a wrong'un. Kingma is trying to work it across the line and gets pinned on the pads

42.3 Qais Ahmad to Brandon Glover, good length ball on off and middle. Glover blocks and the ball runs away to short fineleg off the inside edge
Brandon Glover, RHB, walks out to the crease at no.11
42.2 Qais Ahmad to Saqib Zulfiqar, OUT! And there goes the last recognized batter! Another attempted sweep. Gets beaten and hits him on the pad. Qais asks the question and the umpire reckons it is hitting the off-stump

42.1 Qais Ahmad to Saqib Zulfiqar, good length ball outside off. Defends it to cover off the front foot
Nearly another as Ikram Ali Khil gets the bails off the stumps. It must be so disheartening and disappointing for the Netherlands captain

What an excellent stumping by Ikram Ali Khil! He just whipped the bails in a flash
41.5 Rashid Khan to Philippe Boissevain, quick work from Ikram Ali! They appeal for the stumping and Boissevain is already walking back. Draws the batter forward with a flighted ball wide of off. Turns, beats the outside edge and finds the batter outside his ground.
