Player of the Series: Sean Williams
Afghanistan won the match by 6 wickets and level series 1-1

Afghanistan batted first and declared after adding 545 runs on the board during their first innings. Ibrahim Zadran scored 72 runs for his side while his opening pair Javed Ahmadi managed to score only four runs. Rahmat Shah scored 23 runs before falling short of his crease and ended up throwing away his side. The further responsibilities were taken up by Hashmatullah Shahidi who remained unbeaten during his 200 runs knock. With that, he became the first Afghanistan cricketer to score a double century in an international test match. His knock included 21 boundaries and one maximum.

Asghar Afghan played a brilliant knock of 164 runs which consisted of 14 boundaries and two sixes. The player, unfortunately, missed out on a double century which he would have loved to score for his national side. Nasir Jamal also notched up an unbeaten half-century for his side during his time at the crease. The Zimbabwean bowlers weren't up to the mark during the second test which caused them to leak too many runs.

Coming to bat, the openers took Zimbabwe to a flying start. Prince Masvaure scored 65 runs, while his partner Kevin Kasuza added 44 runs to the tally. Both were indulged in a 91 run partnership. Soon, Tarisai Musakanda joined Prince and contributed 41 runs to the total from his side. The teams started struggling and lost wickets at regular intervals until Sikandar Raza came out to bat. The right-handed batsman played a knock of 85 runs but wasn't of much help as the team were asked to follow-on.

In the second innings, Sean Williams and pacer Donald Tripano stiched a mind-blowing partnership to give Zimbabwe the lead. Williams remained unbeaten during his knock of 151 runs whereas Donald Tripano fell off to Rashid Khan's mystery spin after scoring 95 runs. He was unlucky to have missed his century in this exciting match.

Talking about the Afghan bowlers, Rashid Kahnd picked up a total of 11 wickets across both the innings. Sayed Shiraz scalped three wickets and Amir Hamza got four wickets to his name. Javed Ahmadi also found one scalp to his name. A joint contribution from all bowlers gave an upper hand to the Afghanistan side.

Afghanistan chased down the target with ease. Thanks to the partnership between Ibrahim Zadran (29) and Rahmat Shah (58), which attracted the win towards their side. Ryan Burl and Blessing Muzarabani were exceptional with the ball in the second innings as they picked up two wickets each and delivered economical spells. They really looked sad after their efforts went in vain.
26.1 Blessing Muzarabani to Nasir Jamal, Afghanistan win and level the 2-match series 1-1! A well deserved win as they beat Zimbabwe by 6 wickets! Back of a length ball not he body, Jamal rocks back and pulls that towards deep square leg. The batsmen walk through the run and the celebrations are underway!
Rahmat Shah smashed a massive six in the second ball of Ryan Burl's over. The leggie took perfect revenge in the next ball by cleaning up his stumps and sending him back to the pavilion. The damage is already done with Afghanistan needing 1 run to win this match and level the two match series 1-1.

25.6 Ryan Burl to Hashmatullah Shahidi, FOUR! SHOT! Scores level! Tossed up delivery on the middle stump, spinning into the left-hander who gets down on one knee and slog-sweeps that through the mid-wicket region for a boundary!
25.5 Ryan Burl to Hashmatullah Shahidi, full ball on the middle stump, straightens on pitching as Shahidi strides forward and defends that
25.4 Ryan Burl to Hashmatullah Shahidi, full and on the pads, Shahidi hangs back and glances that down to long leg for a couple of runs.
Hashmatullah Shahidi, LHB, comes to the crease
25.3 Ryan Burl to Rahmat Shah, OUT! TIMBER! Burl gets his revenge! You just cannot rock onto the backfoot on that! A fullish delivery on the middle stump, Shah looks to flick it off the back foot. The ball keeps low, skids off the surface and crashes into the furniture! End of a brilliant knock by Rahmat Shah!
25.2 Ryan Burl to Rahmat Shah, SIX! BANG! Another tossed up delivery outside off, Shah dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and launches that over the long off region for a huge maximum!
25.1 Ryan Burl to Nasir Jamal, full ball on the off stump spinning away, Jamal takes a huge stride forward and dabs that towards point for a single.
Muzarabani is once again troubling the batsmen with the shorter delivers. He consistently bowled them earlier during the innings. The batters find themselves struggling but won't give up hope so easily as all eyes will be to level series.
