How did Huddinge botch that chase up? Or how did Alby Zalmi get to a position where they seemed down and out for good? You can ask either of these questions depending on which side you're on, but what a humdinger we've witnessed in Stockholm! Another run-fest and gosh, we nearly saw a massive score chased down after Zalmi posted 157 on the back of a blistering 25-ball 71 from skipper Azam Zalmi.

Huddinge were reeling at the end of the first over with Kamran Rashid snaring a couple of wickets but what followed right after was scarcely believable with Saeed Ahmed tearing into Zia Alozai as 34 runs were racked up in the second over. Despite the odd wicket falling, the carnage never stopped with Samiullah Ramani and Tariq Uzwak then taking over post Saeed's dismissal. With the score reading 105 at the end of the fifth over, it seemed as though Huddinge would not only raze down this target but would do so with considerable time to spare.

Having done the star turn with the bat, it was time for skipper Azam to take matters into his own hands with the ball. Samiullah perished after a marauding six-fest and that proved to be the pivoting point in the game. Qudratullah Mir Afzal then turned in a masterclass in death bowling with Javid Dawoodzai backing him up beautifully and with a string of tight overs putting the equation beyond Huddinge's reach, there wasn't much they could do as they fell well short of the target in the end.

This now makes it three wins out of three for Zalmi and given the circumstances under which they've pulled things back here today, this is bound to boost their confidence to a massive extent. As for Huddinge, they have so many positives to take out of their first match while they will also look to work on their areas of concern going forward in the competition.
