What a win for Alby Zalmi CC, their best of the season! That's what happens when you put two equally good teams in a high-scoring tournament: you get a low-scoring thriller where the bowlers dictate the terms. The odds were against Alby Zalmi CC when they opted to bat and could only make 96 runs but their bowlers made the target look like 196.

Marsta started poorly and Momand's fiery spell didn't allow them to settle whatsoever. But still, they neither tried to attack and take the match on nor take it deep, and in that double-mindedness continued to lose wickets. Share Ali's controversial dismissal proved to be telling because once he got out for 10, partnerships became hard to come by.

Mustafa and Waqas did wrest back some of the control in the middle-overs with their sensible batting but Qudratullah Mir Afzal sent both of them packing in the same over to hand a killer blow. After that, Alby Zalmi just kept on tightening the screw until Marsta caved in.

Both teams are still very well-positioned to go to the semi-finals but it's one of those games that would give the winning side enough confidence to go all the way.
