Amdocs batting will be synonymous with Hitesh Thadani's knock of 43 runs 17 balls that had 4 biggies and 3 fours in it. Preetaj Deol ably supported Hitesh Thadani and chipped in with crucial 25 runs in 17 balls and found boundaries when it was needed from his end. The top 4 got out pretty cheaply and it looked like they are heading to another loss before Hitesh Thadani had different plans to the chase and came out with a single task of taking on the bowlers right from the first ball and believed he can make it happen for his team. Perhaps, his performance with the ball must have riled him up and it was evident he was hungry and aggressive in his shot making to prove a point. Pankaj Parvesh came in once Hitesh was dismissed and he strruck the all important maximum of his first ball to level the scores and then took the next ball to help his team cross the line.

Sri Lankan Lions will be highly disappointed with the effort in this match. They had their moments both with bat and ball today and later threw them away due to the complacency that crept in their approach. Defending 120, they should have closed the match out with some tight bowling as they did in the last match but some poor bowling effort has caused them lose the match in the end. They were expected to restrict the opposition under 89 that can help them stay in top two for the qualification. First they failed to do that and then to lose the match from the situation they were in is completely out of their expected terms.

This win becomes the first of the tournament for Amdocs while Sri Lankan Lions fail to qualify for the next stage of the tournament as they cannot finish in the top two. For the moment, Hitesh Thadani will be the man of the match and he must have had one of the best nights on the field by gifting a victory to his team in this tournament.

Amdocs have pulled off a miracle which they wouldn't even thought of in their dreams. The last 4 overs have produced 80 runs and Hitesh Thadani was the man to do it for them. He went from a zero to here in a span of one hour and just did the impossible for his team. To pull of the first victory of the tournament, Amdocs will be over the moon today and all their losses so far will be forgotten with this win.

This ball is full on the fourth stump line, as Parvesh gives it a small push between the covers and picks one run. Amdocs have managed to chase down the biggest total of the Cyprus leg and they register their first win with it!
