That brings about to an end to the warm-up games for India. They will be pretty pleased with their performance with the bat in this contest as some of the mainstays got some crucial runs in the middle.

India won the toss on Day 1 and decided to bat first. Agarwal was out early to a rising delivery around the off-stump region but then Gill and Shaw stitched together a good  partnership as the duo played together some delightful strokes. Things suddenly fell out of place for India, though as they lost a flurry of wickets and ended up being all out for 194. Bumrah finished as the top-scorer for India with the bat as he got to his maiden FC half-century.

With the ball, India started off extremely well as Shami and Bumrah set the tone early on and kept taking wicket at regular intervals. They helped India bundle out the Australia A side for just 108. Shami and Saini picked three wickets each and Bumrah chipped in with a couple as well.

In the second innings, hundreds from Pant and Vihari made the headlines. Vihari showed grit and resoluteness in his ton whereas Pant staked a claim with an authority stamping ton and has done his chances for selection for that first Test a world of good.

A couple of go spells from Shami and Bumrah in Australia A's second inning but it was dominated majorly by McDermott who got to well compiled ton in that last session. Wildermuth his partner, took the agressive route as he played with a lot of intent and stroked his way to a 100 as well. Both the captains decided to shake hands an hour before the scheduled close of play.

So that's all from me(Prashanth Satish), and my colleague, Shaswat Kumar from Sportskeeda's coverage of the warmup game. Now we await the start of the Test series that kicks off on the 17th at Adelaide, starting at 9:30 AM IST. Do join us back in time for that, so till then it's a goodbye from us.
Shaw getting one to rip past the batsman's outside edge in that over and with an hour left in the day both the captains have decided to call it a day and both of them are happy to shake hands and end this game as a draw.
74.6 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, wrong un on a back of a length on leg stump. Wildermuth waits for the ball and defends it calmly! And, THAT WILL BE THAT FOR THE WARM UP GAME!
74.5 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Wildermuth gets onto the back foot and punches the ball towards deep point for a couple of runs
74.5 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, OH MY! Length delivery that pitches on leg stump and turns away prodigiously from the bat. Wildermuth has a poke at it but sees the ball beat the outside edge and the keeper for a couple
74.4 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, back of a length delivery down the leg side. Wildermuth gets onto the back foot and clips it towards the fielder at deep mid wicket for a couple
74.3 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Wildermuth has a good look at it before letting it go through to the keeper
74.2 Prithvi Shaw to Ben McDermott, back of a length delivery outside off stump. McDermott goes deep into his crease and guides the ball towards third man for one
74.1 Prithvi Shaw to Jack Wildermuth, full delivery outside off stump. Wildermuth comes forward and bunts the ball down the ground towards mid off for a single
Both the batsman will be keen now on taking more chances as they have been presented with part timers from both the ends and that means they will be facing a lot of loose deliveries. Shaw to continue.
