Commentary
Austria CC Wien won by 34 runs

ACW put up a challenging total of 133 runs on the board. Thanks to the opening knock by Hassan Ashfaq who score 61 runs which included 5 fours and the same number of sixes too. The team slowed down a bit and then got back into the action after a big-hitting by Lakmal Kasthuri who remained 31* helped the team go past 100. Mani Singh picked up two wickets and finished with figures 2/23 during the middle overs to slow down their opponents but a few big over steamrolled their score to 133.

The chase looked difficult from the initial stage as 133 was a perfect score to defend on this track. The batsmen were not up to the mark during the initial stage of the innings. Finally, Abhishek Gopalakrishnan smashed balls to the boundary and even a few ones above the boundary line as score 35 runs in 19 balls but it was too late by that time to guide his team to a victory. The bowlers of ACW shined today with economical spells and wickets at regular intervals to hand their team their first victory during this tournament. Jamil Bahramkhil and Sharan Gill delivered crucial spells and picked up two wickets each and ended with figures 2/15 and 2/12 respectively.
