Belgium beat the Netherlands XI by five wickets with 11 balls remaining!

It wasn't a bad start for the Dutchmen with the ball. They kept it tight and picked a couple of wickets right at the outset. Things looked even as the innings approached the halfway mark. But the fifth over from skipper Sebastiaan Braat proved to be the turning point in the game.

Aziz Muhammad smashed him for 33 runs in the fifth over and completely batter the Netherlands XI out of the game. He scored 52 runs off just 18 deliveries and took his side close to victory. The rest of it was handled by Saber Zakhil, who scored a nice little cameo of 21 runs and hit the winning runs.

Clayton Floyd was once again the pick of the bowlers, conceding just 9 runs in his spell and picking up two crucial wickets. Viv Kingma too picked up a couple of wickets at the start, but conceded 25 runs in his spell.

With this victory, Belgium have earned a couple of shots to get into the final. Netherlands XI have to play the Eliminator and win two games on the bounce now to play the final tomorrow.
