Krishnappa Gowtham (Mangaluru Dragons captain): We had lost quite a few wickets down at 89/4. We wanted to play as per the situation. It turned out to be a good score. We knew once the dew came in, batting would become easy. Fortunately, we got early wickets that helped us. It's a new game every day so you have to come up with new ideas. I wanted to bowl the spinners early on and it paid off today. We tried to make the most of it when the ball was hard and tried to get the purchase off the surface. Not 100 per cent happy with my bowling. I could have done a bit better than what I did today but the boys are in a good frame of mind.

A convincing victory for the Mangaluru Dragons as they win by 31 runs. Bengaluru Blasters continue to disappoint after losing their 6th match on a trot. Mayank Agarwal looks very dejected as they haven't found any ways to win a game. Shubhang Hegde and Ashraf managed to give them some stability to their score or else it would have been much worse.

It was Dega Nischal and Mayank Agarwal who started the run chase. Nischal started off with a couple of boundaries in the first over before Anand Doddamani triggered a collapse with a couple of wickets in his very first over. The ball started to grip and the batters kept playing poor shots. Jeshwanth Acharya was the 2nd casualty before Paras Gurbaux Arya turned the game on its head, bagging a five-wicket haul in just 12 deliveries.

He bowled very well but none of those deliveries were unplayable under any stress of imagination. It was poor execution from the batters and it seemed they would be bowled out for their lowest-ever score. Arya turned the ball both ways while Doddamani also made a big impact.

At 57/8, they were firmly staring down the barrel but the partnership between Shubhang Hegde and Sarfaraz Ashraf helped them to past the 100-run mark. Hegde struck some massive blows and went on to score a half-century. He remained unbeaten on 54 off 41 deliveries which was studded with a four and 4 sixes. They could eventually muster 140 in the end.

19.2 Sankalp to Shubhang Hegde, OH NO! DROPPED AGAIN! Short and slow outside off-stump. Shubhang slashes to the right of short third man but the fielder puts this down! One run taken.

19.1 Sankalp to Shubhang Hegde, full outside off-stump. Shubhang goes right across and tries to slap it away to long-off but all that happens is a bunt back to the bowler! No run.

Thats the penultimate over done and dusted and we are close to the inevitable at the moment. This has been a thoroughly convincing performance from Mangaluru Dragons.
