JIB seals the thrilling contest in the end to outclass BCC by 5 wickets. Chasing 103 runs, JIB got off to a steady start from their opening duo of Asad Tanveer and Shahbaz Masood.

The duo added 39 runs for the opening stand before Dara Shikoh made the breakthrough. Mirza Umair then played a clinical cameo to partner Asad from the other end and keep JIB in control of the run-chase.

Apart from the brief scare at the end from Khurram Shahzad's double strike, JIB always looked on the top of the chase. Shahzad's double whammy gave BCC a slim ray of hope but by then the equation for JIB was down to run-a-ball.

In the end, Asad Tanveer ensured to bat through and take the team close to the victory line and then finished it off in style with a maximum.

With the win, JIB pick up two points and go to the top of the points table while BCC will slump to the bottom and have to wait to put up their first points on the board.
