After Suresh Kolli's valiant knock of 46 from 28 deliveries only managed to get his side to a measly 93. None of the other Bologna batsmen really got going and they payed the price for it eventually. A poor all-round display from them hands them their first loss and they have only themselves to blame.

The bowlers needed a good start but Waleed Rana had other plans. The man of the match hammered 48 of 25 deliveries to take charge of the run chase and dismantle this Bologna bowling attack, alongside Kotikawatta.

A couple of wickets in the same over by Jastinder Singh, sent both the openers back in the hut, but it was too little too late for Bologna by then. Their fielding was abysmal as they didn't help themselves or their bowlers in this match.

It was a piece of cake, as they say, towards the end. Waleed Rana had done all the damage before the skipper Arsalan Rana walked in and finished things off with two boundaries! A comfortable win for Pianoro, which takes them to the top of the table!

Bologna have a chance to bounce back immediately, as they face the Cricket Starts in the next game which gets underway in around 20 minute's time. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for all the action from that one, but for now, it's Pratyush Rohra, signing off on behalf of my colleague Abhinav Singh. Take care and stay safe, see ya!
Almost like a walk in the park, that run chase from Pianoro. They seal the victory by 8 wickets and get their first win of the tournament!
Over: 9 | Summary: 4 Bowler: Jastinder Singh Score: 0/0
8.1 Jastinder Singh to Hammad Amjad, FOUR! THAT IS THAT THEN! overpitched ball on the offstump. Hammad leans into the shot and drives the ball gracefully to the vacant sweeper covers region for a boundary to take his team to the victory shores! A perfectly scripted chase from Pianoro
That last boundary will do alright! Takes Pianoro just one hit away from victory and they should seal this one comfortably now.

Pianoro need 4 runs in 12 balls at 2 rpo.
Over: 8 | Summary: 1 0 1 4 0 4 Bowler: Revanth Pannala Score: 90/2
7.6 Revanth Pannala to Arslan Rana, FOUR! SHOT! fuller length ball, bowled wide outside off. Arslan is quick to latch onto the width as he cuts the ball over backward point for a boundary
7.5 Revanth Pannala to Arslan Rana, fuller length ball on the offstump and the batsman misses to make any contact with this one
7.4 Revanth Pannala to Arslan Rana, FOUR! SHOT! short of length delivery rising to the batsman's waist on the legstump. Rana swivels, deep in the crease and slaps the ball to long leg for a boundary
7.3 Revanth Pannala to Hammad Amjad, good length ball drifting down the leg which is tucked away to fine leg for an easy single
7.2 Revanth Pannala to Hammad Amjad, length ball on the offstump. Hammad powerfully hits the ball back to the bowler with a straight bat
7.1 Revanth Pannala to Arslan Rana, fuller length ball on the offstump, cut away to point for a single
Hammad Amjad is the new batsman at the crease.

Revanth Pannala is back into the attack.
Two wickets in that over and two catches! No one saw that coming! Both the openers are back in the hut in the same over and Bologna have a glimmer of hope!
Over: 7 | Summary: 0 1 6 W 4 0 Bowler: Jastinder Singh Score: 0/0
6.6 Jastinder Singh to Waleed Rana, OUT! BIG FISH! Is there a twist in the tale? back of length delivery bowled across from the batsman. Waleed looking to reach for it, only manages to toe end as the ball lands straight into the lap of the backward point fielder who did not have to move an inch to catch that. Both openers departing in quick succession!
6.5 Jastinder Singh to Waleed Rana, OH NO! FOUR! fuller length ball on the legstump that is worked away to the cow corner. However, the fielder that had taken the previous catch, lets the ball pass by him this time to the boundary at long on! What should have been a regulation stop turns into four runs!
Arslan Rana is the new batsman at the crease.
6.4 Jastinder Singh to Nilantaha Kotikawatta, OUT! CAUGHT! length delivery on the offstump. The batsman mistimes the big shot over midwicket. The fielder waits for the ball at long on for an eternity and then hangs on to the catch
6.3 Jastinder Singh to Nilantaha Kotikawatta, SIX! DISPATCHED! low fulltoss on the offstump. Nilanthana had all the time in the world to dispatch it and boy he tonked it some million miles over deep midwicket boundary
