CTT win the match by 2 runs

A nail-biting match to finish the day for the ECS fans. Chasing a target of 106 runs BDS started well, scoring 34 runs in the powerplay. They lost two quick wickets but the match was seemingly in their control. Dilawar Khan batted out through every thick and thin and also Kuldeep Lal gave them the needed start to kick off. But a laid back approach in the middle overs and a little too late hitting in the was of little help to them as they finished 2 runs short and handed CTT an easy win

CTT did well to pull back a game that was not in their control. Their picks of the bowlers were Sarfraz Ahmed, who snapped up 3 wickets, and Muhammad Sheraz, who stopped the flow of runs and also chipped in with two wickets.
9.6 Sarfraz Ahmed to Awais Khan, SIX! Right in the slot for Khan, he goes straight down the ground into the dugout area for a maximum!
9.5 Sarfraz Ahmed to Adeel Abbas, OUT! Short of a length delivery outside the off-stump, he has no option but to go for the big shot, lobs it up in the air and the man at extra cover completes the catch
9.4 Sarfraz Ahmed to Adeel Abbas, SIX! Good length delivery, he takes a couple of steps down the wicket and swings it away over the cow corner fence for a maximum
9.3 Sarfraz Ahmed to Umair Javed, OUT! Length ball outside the off-stump, he moves across and goes for the big slog, but all he gets is a top edge. The fielder at deep mid-wicket steadies himself and takes a good catch
9.2 Sarfraz Ahmed to Umair Javed, FOUR! Full ball outside the off-stump, big heave once again and gets the outside edge this time which flies off to the thirdman boundary
9.1 Sarfraz Ahmed to Umair Javed, length ball outside the off-stump, he swings at it but is nowhere near the line of the ball and gets no connection
Boundaries don't come in the over for BDS as the match is over for them in the over. A six of the penultimate ball has bailed them to a little bit safer, but can the lower order fetch for them 19 runs in 6 balls? Stay with us as we take you through the last six balls
8.6 Adeel Sarwar to Umair Javed, slightly short of a length, pulls it off the back foot to deep mid-wicket
8.5 Adeel Sarwar to Umair Javed, SIX! Full ball outside the off-stump, hits it with a horizontal bat straight over the bowler's head for a maximum
8.4 Adeel Sarwar to Umair Javed, slightly short of a length outside the off-stump, goes for the pull but gets beaten
8.3 Adeel Sarwar to Umair Javed, flighted delivery from the bowler, dances down the wicket but mistimes it straight back to the bowler
8.2 Adeel Sarwar to Adeel Abbas, good length delivery on the sixth stump line, drags it to deep mid-wicket for a single
8.1 Adeel Sarwar to Umair Javed, full delivery on the stumps, goes for the slog sweep but gets no elevation
Big overs is the need of the hour for BDS here as they need 28 runs to win in 12 balls. BDS  batsmen have currently gone defensive and will need a few boundaries in the coming over to win from here on. BDS are on 78/5 after 8 overs
7.6 Asjad Butt to Umair Javed, low full toss on the stumps, drives it down to long-on for a single
7.6 Asjad Butt to Umair Javed, jumps down the wicket, the bowler tries to go full and wide but bowls it too wide
7.5 Asjad Butt to Adeel Abbas, full delivery outside the off-stump, drives it square of the wicket to sweeper cover for a single
7.4 Asjad Butt to Umair Javed, slightly short of a good length, horribly mistimes the pull shot to deep mid-wicket
