The one game where the Champs got it wrong, they are eliminated from the competition. Such is sport, isn't it? It is quite harsh but they've had a fine tournament up until today. As for the Knights, nothing like a performance such as this to boost their confidence ahead of the final. They might just be peaking at the right time and will look to put their best foot forward tomorrow to lift the trophy.

Phil Mustard is the Player of the Match. Here's what he has to say: The bowlers put us in a very good position. 160+, I thought it was a very good pitch to knock it off. (Strategy for the final) It's going to be the same - see the ball, hit the ball and take it from there. Hopefully tomorrow it's a good pitch again and we can do the same.

S Sreesanth (Indore Knights captain): I'm just grateful to this beautiful tournament and the wonderful team. The way Phil and Deepak played was great. It was good to get off the mark in the wickets column. That wicket (of Bhanu Seth) was important but more than that, the way the team has played with energy throughout the tournament, very proud of them. (On the second semifinal) I wish them the very best because the way we're playing this tournament is ours. Big thanks to the whole crowd in Ghaziabad.

Monty Panesar (Chandigarh Champs captain) - "We lost a key batter in the first ball and lost two batters in the powerplay and struggled since the start. We targeted 190-200 as par score given how the pitch is. Credits go to Phil Mustard for his performance and he is known for being a big hitter. The bowlers didn't click and it wasn't our day. Also we were without the services of key players like Tilakaratne Dilshan and Pathan. The guys who delivered weren't there and it was an unknown territory without them. It's been a brilliant tournament and a wonderful experience with the combination of international, Ranji and local players."

Indore Knights becomes the first team to seal the final berth after a dominant performance to outclass Chandigarh Champs and win the contest by 7 wickets.

Chasing 168, IK received an early blow losing two quick wickets but ever since Phil Mustard walked out to the crease, there was no looking back. The wicketkeeper-batter played a match-winning knock of 84 to build the launchpad and propel IK towards a win. Mustard paired with Deepak Sharma on the other end to script a 67-run stand for the third wicket.

However, after Mustard departed, Deepak Sharma, who was playing second fiddle up until then took over the reins and ensured to bat till the end and see things through.

For CC, Monty Panesar, Gaurav Tomar and Mukesh Saini picked up one wicket apiece as they could never trouble the IK batters and eventually it was an easy chase for the opposition.
