It turned out to be a comprehensive victory for CIC. The target demanded one batter to stay at the crease throughout and Merwe took the responsibility, played some nice shots, and steered his side home. The Lions' fielding were sloppy once again as we saw one too many misfields at the start. The easy boundaries they conceded allowed the batters to dominate proceedings in the middle
