Dhaka Dominators 151/4 in 20 overs Nasir Hossain 66(45) | Tanvir Islam 1/12 Ariful Haque 24(17) | Mosaddek Hossain 1/15
The Dhaka Dominators tried to fight hard and make a match out of this game in the back end but it was a little too late for them. Skipper Nasir Hossain led the chase for them with a fighting knock of an unbeaten 66 of 45 balls but they rest of the batting just couldn't live up to the expectations. They got off to a disastrous start as they lost their top three within the powerplay. From there onwards it was really a tough ask for them. Skipper Nasir tried to stitch together a partnership first with Mohammad Mithun but he was too slow for his 36 run knock. Later Hossain found some support from Ariful but it just wasn't enough.
The Comilla Victorian bowlers did really well as they managed to pick wickets at regular intervals. Their spinners, especially Tanvir, did aa remarkable job and choked the flow of the Dhaka innings in the middle overs. Hassan Ali had a bit of an off day but he came back well to close the innings out with a bunch of yorkers and he would be drawing some confidence from that. Mukidul and Mosaddek played their part too as they chipped in with some crucial wickets.
Overall a great win for the Comilla Victorians and they've turned around their season and fortunes in some fashion. They've won three on the trot now and the rest of the teams will have to start worrying about them if they can continue with this form. For the Dhaka Dominators well, it's once again been a poor outing and especially with the ball this time . They will have to regroup quickly and get their act together.

Well done Mukidul! He closed that over out really well and has ensured that there won't be any late twists in the tale. 40 runs needed of the last over now and this is just a mere formality for the Victorians.

Mukidul Islam [3.0-0-23-0] back into the attack.
It's been a bit of a late surge from the Dhaka batters but they still have a mountain to climb in front of them! They need 50 runs from the last 2 overs.
