The pitch is extremely conducive for batting with teams like Punjab and Tigers easily raking up scores in excess of 100. The teams batting second are put under enormous pressure if the target is in the three-figure mark. The outfield gets progressively fast. As for the bowlers, they need to continuosly vary in pace and length to keep the batsmen guessing.
There will be plenty of sunshine throughout the day and the maximum temperature will be around 34 degree celsius. The pitch willl be baked by the beating sun which in turn will make it better and better for batting.
Chamal Sadun loooked in omnious form in the previous match and it has sent warning bells ringing for the NTC side. If they are to win against a strong opposition like CMC, the NTC will have to pull out some sort of Houdini act in the middle.

Second game for the NTCC side on a trot and it will be up against another formidable challenger in the form of CMC. NTCC have not played a bad brand of cricket throughout the tournament but they have not played the big moments of the game well . The team mangement and the players of NTCC will be hoping that they sort out that issue in this game.
Another massive win for CMC as they beat Nicosia Tigers CC by 9 wickets and 27 balls to spare!!
A total of a 101 runs on the board was never going to be enough and required the bowlers to bowl out of their skins . However, they were very undisciplined with their lines and lengths and were smashed all around the park. Apart from that, they concede a staggering 19 extras in the innings, which took the game away from them.
As for the batsmen, Chamal Sudan top-scored with a brilliant 37 off 13 balls and was well supported by Gursewak Singh who scored a quick fire 27 of 10 balls. Tehran Khan too supported the batsmen with his cameo of 21 runs.
That's it from the game everyone. We hope that you enjoyed this amazing display of all-round performance by CMC against the Nicosia Tigers. This is Mohamed Azhar and my colleague, Maanas Upadhyay signing off!
