Well, they were always up against an uphill task, and despite their deep batting line-up, the Bayer Uerdingen Boosters were always going to fall short. They did, and by a long way! The fact that there was no one from their top-order to play the kind of innings Jamshed or Udit played earlier in their innings proved to be fatal. Batters got starts but couldn't carry on, and the Blackcaps wrapped things up in style in the end.

Aritharan Vaseekaran, alongside the rest of the Boosters top-order, looked to provide them with a good start, but they lost too many wickets for their liking, even though they were almost at par with the Dusseldorf Blackcaps total. Jamshed Khan was instrumental in breaking the back of the Boosters line-up with a couple of wickets - what a game he had!

Pakeetharan Praba took a blow to the face, but came back and tried to lead a fightback soon after. But it was never going to be enough - the Boosters were well behind the 8-ball already. The game was up once he got out, and from then on, it was just a matter of the formalities being completed. Dusseldorf Blackcaps, deserved winners of ECS Krefeld!

The Dusseldorf Blackcaps are in a huddle, and they prance around in joy! They were deserved winners all along, and have gone on to produce an all-round performance worthy of a final!
