Ubaid Manzoor finished things off with a six in the end but the game was way more tighter than the Dusseldorf Blackcaps would have hoped for. The Aachen made a real match out of it despite having to defend a low score of 82 and it looked game on till the final over.

The Blackcaps got off to a slow but steady start as both the openers took their time but they build up a good partnership. However their problems began when Jamshed was dismissed and Ahmadzai got stuck at one end after that. He failed to accelerate which put the pressure on the new batters who had to throw their bats around trying to up the ante but they were dismissed in the process.

Kashif Shahab struck a much needed maximum in the penultimate over to bring the game back in their grip and from there it was Manzoor who finished things off in style. They did fall behind the game for a while but it didn't cause much damage as they won by 5 wickets and with four balls to spare in the end. For the Aachen it was Fahad Khan who was the pick of the bowlers as he gave away just 10 runs and picked up a wicket. Mohammad Arif and Rashid chipped in too with some key wickets in the middle overs.
