Sharjah Bukhatir won this match by 6 wickets and 17 balls to spare, they will play Fujairah Pacific Ventures in the finals tomorrow!

Coming into chase a huge total, SBK need a solid start at the top. Khalid Shah and Renjith Mani who came out to bat for SBK hit the initial boundaries. Renjith's stay, unfortunately, did not last long as he was got out in trying to get a boundary.

Khalid who was looking solid and finding the boundary ropes also lost his wicket by the hands of Junaid Siddique. SBK skipper Fayyaz Ahamd alongside Kashif Daud got their side out of the pickle as they continued to hit the boundaries and kept the required run rate in check!

It was great to watch both these batsmen take calculative risks as they hammered all the bad deliveries into the stands. They were almost scoring at 10 runs per over. ECB were desperate to break this partnership and were banking on their spinners to do so.

Waheed Ahmad the new bowler created an opportunity to get the breakthrough but the chaces were dropped. Sharjah were in the chase courtesy of a strong partnership between Fayyaz and Kashif. Both these batsmen got their side across the 100 run mark in the 10th over.

Fayyaz in the prematch said he wanted to chase against ECB Blues and he looked determined to prove his point. Fayyaz reached his half-century and Kashif who started slow picked up the pace by belting the boundaries.

ECB Blues skipper Basil was just looked clueless as he tried to do the chops and changes to break this partnership. Unfortunately for him, Kashif and Fayyaz were just too good with their strokes. Both these batters continued to deposit the bad balls over the ropes while maintaining the strike rotation as well.

Kashif who struggled in the league stages shined just at the right time for Sharjah and he as well managed to reach his half-century. Interestingly he did not hit a single boundary and dealt only in sixes to reach his 50. Sharjah started to inch closer to the win as ECB bowlers just lost their spirits to get back into the game.

The only why ECB could get a wicket was an error made by the batsman and that's what just transpired in the previous over. Kashif who was ball-watching did not ground his bat while running the single and was sent back on 55 runs! Thus a strong partnership of 129 runs came to a close.

Towards the end, Mohammad Boota the new batsman looked to finish the game off in style but skied it high in the air and was caught. A fitting end to the chase as Sharjah skipper Fayyaz managed to get his side across the line as he stayed unbeaten till the end. He scored 84* and also awarded the player of the match.

Over: 18 | Summary: 4 Bowler: Score: 0/0
16.1 Basil Hameed to Fayyaz Ahmad, FOUR TO FINISH THINGS OFF IN STYLE! THE SKIPPER SENDS HIS TEAM TO THE FINAL! That was bowled short and slow, basically inviting Fayyaz Ahmad to finish the game and the Sharjah captain obliges gladly!
A bit of drama towards the end. Boota looks to go for the glory shot and finish the match but perishes. Meanwhile, Fayyaz well looks to go the distance but fails, he was fortunately dropped in the deep by the fielder. SBK forgetting that it can be done in singles as well, 2 runs needed from 18 balls!

Skipper Basil Hameed comes on to bowl the 18th over!

Looks for the glory shot and Boota departs!

Nathan Shibu is the new batsman in for SBK!!
16.2 Kartik Meiyappan to Mohammad Boota, OUT CAUGHT! Flighted delivery again as Boota looks to swing this time but gets a top edge! It's high in the air but the fielder completes a good catch! Still, 3 runs needed for SBK!!
16.1 Kartik Meiyappan to Mohammad Boota, flighted delivery, inviting Boota to finish it off in style but he's got some turn and beats Boota.
A tidy over after a while for ECB, Boota, and Fayyaz just taking it easy now as they need just 3 runs need for Sharjah to reach the finals!!

Karthik Meiyappan comes on to bowl the 17th over!
Over: 16 | Summary: 1lb 1 0 0 2 1 Bowler: Junaid Siddique Score: 168/3
15.6 Junaid Siddique to Mohammad Boota, bowler walked in gingerly on that last delivery, almost giving up. Pitched it full, towards the pads as it's flicked away comfortably.
15.5 Junaid Siddique to Mohammad Boota, slower ball, pitched short, Boota slaps it away towards midwicket and they complete an easy brace.
15.4 Junaid Siddique to Mohammad Boota, BEAMER! That's a quicker short delivery and Boota can't move away from that one and takes a blow.
15.3 Junaid Siddique to Mohammad Boota, short ball, Boota seemed to be caught out a bit there and just let it go.
15.2 Junaid Siddique to Fayyaz Ahmad, short and wide, cut hard by the Sharjah skipper but the fielder is there.
