Muhammad Zohaib Khan: I'm really happy to do so well in my first D10 game! The ball was slightly skidding on and the sun was right in the face from one side, but, the ploy from my end was to keep it simple and get the singles coming in in case the boundary was hard to come by.

Sharjah absolutely thrashed Emirates Blues in the opening game of the D10 tournament. It was nothing short of clinical performance from them. To top that, Zain Ullah Khan also picked up a hat-trick to finish the game. But, it was a sorry performance from the Emirates Blues.

Once Emirates Blues conceded 131, they were always on the backfoot, the only thing that could've brought them back into the game was a brisk start in the powerplay which never happened and they were always catching up in the game. Sharjah's bowling has been talking point too as after posting a huge total, they need their bowlers to step up and they did exactly that.

Emirates Blues were kept quiet in the powerplay as they just managed to score 26 of the first three overs and that is never going to help when you are up against a stiff target. Haider Ali and Uzair Khan were right on the money. Then Shahbaz Ali came on to bowl pivotal two overs where he conceded just 6 and picked up a wicket, just goes to show how much Emirates Blues struggled in the run chase and they were never in the game.

And he gets the hat-trick, what a moment this for Zain Ullah Khan, he's elated, he's pumped and what not!
