Presentation Comments: -

Kevin Pietersen, England Legends Captain: We produced two pretty good games. Unfortunately, West Indies were too good for us. The boys have put on some brave performances. They can be very happy with the way they have played. Couple of overs in the middle, we lost a couple of wickets. We played 5 games in 10 days, we've got sore bodies and it's appropriate that we are going back home.

Brian Lara, West Indies Legends Captain: Really proud of the guys. I loved the bowling display. England were 10-15 runs short, liked the confidence from the boys today. Smith was outstanding, did a good job with the ball as well. We played mature cricket, my feet looks fine now. It's going to be a big game tomorrow against India. We will make sure to come up with a good plan.

Dwayne Smith, Man of the Match: I was given an opportunity and I am really thankful for that. I have played here in 10 seasons of IPL, so I know a little bit about the pitches. I am always ready to bowl whenever the captains calls me, Of course, looking forward to play tomorrow.
What an electrifying game of T20 Cricket we've had here and the West Indies Legends have deservingly won the game by 5 wickets and chase down the target of 187 on the last ball of the game. The star of the show was the big man, Dwayne Smith, who set the tone of this run-chase with a bruising 58 from just 31 deliveries & he was more than ably supported by Narsingh Deonarine, who remained unbeaten with an outstanding 53* from 37 balls & Kirk Edwards, who scored a superb 34 from 26 balls, with Ridley Jacobs getting a run-a-ball 13 at the top of the order, William Perkins scoring only 7 runs from the same number of deliveries, captain Brian Lara being dismissed for just 3 from 5 deliveries, which left Tino Best to get the winning run!

The England Legends bowling attack would be quite disappointed, with the pick of the bowlers being James Tredwell, who took 2/35 in 3 overs while Chris Tremlett also took 2 wickets to end up at 2/37 from his 4 overs, while Usman Afzaal also got a wicket, to end up 1/15 in his 1 over. Monty Panesar bowled a good tight spell and had figures of 0/27 in his 4 overs, while Ryan Sidebottom too bowed well, to have a spell of 0/28 in 4 overs and Darren Maddy also delivered a decent spell of 0/31 in 4 overs.

With this win, West Indies Legends have qualified for the Semi-Finals of the tournament and they'll face India in tomorrow's first semi-final. Stay tuned for the Presentation and Post-game comments!
Over: 20 | Summary: 0 2 1 1 W 1 Bowler: James Tredwell Score: 187/5
19.6 James Tredwell to Tino Best, BEST IS THE MAN! Steals a single to seal the game and a spot in the semis! Darted in too full on the pads, Best leans and dead bats it square on the leg-side as Deonarine is off for a rapid single. A wayward throw from the fielder means that the West Indies are home and dry! West Indies Legends win by 5 wickets off the final delivery to qualify for the semifinals!
WOW! There's a massive twist in this game still, with Tredwell having the captain Brian Lara caught short of his crease, tempted in flight, lured out by the flight & missed the line of the ball & Phil Mustard made no mistakes at all in whipping off the bails and that's a proper twist, with 1 needed of the last ball.

Tino Best is the new batsman at the crease & will face the last devliery.
19.5 James Tredwell to Brian Lara, OUT! STUMPED! OH DEAR - ARE WE IN FOR A SUPER OVER? Tossed up on a full length on fifth-stump, Lara steps out to swing over long on like he's known to have done many many times over the years but the ball spins away into the gloves of Mustard who couldn't have asked for a simpler stumping chance! Lara departs and we are down to 1 needed off 1!
19.4 James Tredwell to Narsingh Deonarine, full at the stumps, swept straight to deep square leg to level the scores!
19.3 James Tredwell to Brian Lara, OOH! Looks to paddle this length ball behind the keeper but the ball lobs towards the third man region off the gloves of the keeper! They pick up a bye!
19.2 James Tredwell to Brian Lara, WOW! THEY STEAL A SECOND! FABULOUS FROM LARA! Full and flighted outside off, driven through the covers and Lara scampers back for the second run! The fortitude of this man!
19.1 James Tredwell to Brian Lara, steps out to a full delivery around off, drills a drive straight to cover! Dot ball!
A good over for the West Indies Legends, who get 8 runs from it despite losing a wicket and after 19 overs, they are 182/4 and need just 5 runs from the last over.

The last over would be bowled by the off-spinner James Tredwell, who would bowl to Lara.
Over: 19 | Summary: 0 1 4 W 1 2 Bowler: Chris Tremlett Score: 182/4
18.6 Chris Tremlett to Narsingh Deonarine, full outside off, smothers a drive between mid-off and extra cover where the fielder fumbles, thereby allowing them to get back for a second! 5 needed off the final over!
18.5 Chris Tremlett to Brian Lara, slower delivery, full on off, Lara drops his bat down and jogs across for a single. Well done indeed, given that he comes in with an injured ankle
What an anti-climactic end for Kirk Edwards and that is such a soft dismissal, with that flick having no purpose at all and Owais Shah made no mistakes at all at short-midwicket and this contest is not done yet at all, with West Indies 179/4 and 8 runs required in 8 balls.

The new batsman at the crease is the captain, the legendary "Prince of Trinidad", Brian Lara, who is going to bat with an injured toe.
18.4 Chris Tremlett to Kirk Edwards, OUT! SOFT DISMISSAL AND EDWARDS IS RIGHTFULLY DISAPPOINTED! Walks across the stumps but this is full on leg, Edwards flicks it straight to Owais Shah at short mid-wicket! Is there life left in this contest yet?
18.3 Chris Tremlett to Kirk Edwards, FOUR! INCREDIBLE FROM EDWARDS! Nothing wrong with the delivery - in fact, it was a perfect yorker outside off. But Edwards jams his bat down through the vacant cover region and the fielder is too square to cut it around! Outstanding from Edwards!
Vital half-century for Narsingh Deonarine, who's really played with such calmness that West Indies Legends have never looked in trouble of throwing away the initiative at any stage.
18.2 Chris Tremlett to Narsingh Deonarine, back of a length outside leg, Deonarine goes outside leg and tucks it towards mid-wicket to bring up an excellent half-century! Been a steady, yet superb innings from the southpaw!
