Commentary

Berlin CC come out on top in this quarter-final and they have put up a brilliant show with the ball to defend their total. They were down with the bat but their skipper gave them a solid finish and the bowlers responded equally well to make sure that they finish this game comfortably in the end.

They picked up wickets all the way and kept things tight in the powerplay to build pressure on the batters. Viktoria's batters could not build partnerships and lost wickets at regular intervals. Their bowling at the death where they gave away extra runs clearly costing them a big game and they will sit back and work on this going forward.

A fine all-round game for Berlin CC in the end and this will give them confidence as they progress into the next stage of this tournament. They have bowled well as a unit and are now through to the play-offs as well. That brings an end to the first quarter-final but do hang around as we have more coming your way throughout the day.
