What a run chase. It kept everyone on the edge until the final delivery. Fighters CC succumbed to a huge defeat at the hands of Punjab CC in the last outing but their aggressive batting approach at the start and some fireworks from Deepu & Parminder helped them to post a big total but in reply, Punjab CC got off to a brilliant start.

After tearing the Punjab bowlers apart, Deepu made his presence felt with the ball by coming up with a tripe strike to tilt the momentum in his side's favour but he can't keep up his good work in the final over. Imran latched onto his loose deliveries and smashed him for 31 runs. It seemed Jatinder had answers to Imran when he dragged the length back and angled it across but he couldn't keep up his goods in the penultimate over. Hardeep bowled a brilliant 8th over to give Fighters CC a chance but Jatinder fed Imran in the slot and got hit for three sixes.

Parminder applied the finishing touch with the bat but can't do it with the ball as the target was chased with two balls to spare
