It wasn’t a huge score for the Fresh Tropical to chase it down but they went onto make a meal of that and eventually had to be settled with a tie before winning it in the golden ball. The run chase started off very well, with Zain Naqvi and Javed Mahash looking in great touch. Both struck some delightful shots to get going and went onto score 30 in the first three overs.

The stage was set for the finish and it looked the Fresh Tropical would chase it down in a canter. Irfan Shaikh was the top scorer for the Tropical scoring 31 off 18 deliveries. He looked in great touch but a cluster of wickets towards the last few overs put them under a lot of pressure. Bergamo CC almost pulled it off but a six of the penultimate delivery of the match took the match golden ball.

Bilal Hamid who came out to bat for the golden ball smashed a huge blow down towards the deep midwicket region and despite the fielding holding onto the catch, his momentum took him over the fence, which eventually handed victory to Fresh Tropical. They will be delighted to get out of a corner and post the victory which looked quite comfortable at one stage.
