Fresh Tropical beat Brescia CC by 9 wickets and win the tournament!

As was expected, Fresh Tropical cruised to a very comfortable victory over Brescia CC, eventually ending the innings in the sixth over and beating them by 9 wickets. Amir Sharif and Irfan Shaikh were the stars for Fresh Tropical with the bat in hand, and ensured that everything went according to plan.

Although opener Zain Naqvi departed in the first over itself, it did not bother Fresh Tropical too much as they coasted to an extremely pleasing victory over their rivals Brescia CC, who just did not turn up to the races in this game. They could only muster 55/9 in their quota of ten overs, and that is by no means a winning total, especially in a final.

Fresh Tropical make it their third win in the ECS Milan T10 competition and despite finishing second in the league table, clinch the title by beating their closest competitors Brescia CC. We can assure you that there will be a big party in the Fresh Tropical dressing room tonight, with fun and frolic and reverly.

5.5 Qalab Sajjad to Amir Sharif, SIX! BANG! Sharif finishes it off in style and Fresh Tropical win the tournament! It was nicely flighted and on the middl stump line, Sharif dances down the track and swings through the line of the ball to send that packing straight back down the ground for a huge maximum! And that will do the job! What a dominant win this has been!

5.4 Qalab Sajjad to Amir Sharif, nicely tossed up and on the middle stump line, Sharif gets onto the front foot and defends that right under his eyes.

5.3 Qalab Sajjad to Amir Sharif, tossed up and outside off, Sharif cuts that into the gap at backward point. The ball stops before the rope and the batters waltz back for the second.

5.2 Qalab Sajjad to Irfan Shaikh, tossed up and outside off spinning away, Shaikh cuts that towards deep point for a single.

5.1 Qalab Sajjad to Amir Sharif, full and on the middle stump angling in, Sharif leans in and nudges that into the mid-wicket region for a single.

12 runs came off this over, and this only helped Fresh Tropical to get closer to the target that they are chasing. Again, as I said before, it only seems to be a matter of time.
