The start of the innings was a positive one for Kings XI. They scored 40 runs in the power play and well in the chase big time. But the problem was the regular loss of wickets and in the end, that turned out to be the difference! They were bowled out with not even 90 runs on the board.

No batter could get to even 20 runs. Vikas Kumar was unlucky to be given out leg-before. Both Jagmeet Singh and Simranjit Singh failed, when they were needed to score crucial runs. Sarbjit Singh could not get going either. On the whole, it was a pretty disappointing batting effort from the Kings XI.

Bowling-wise, Fresh Tropical were highly impressive! Among the 6 bowlers used, 4 of them were among the wickets. Two picked up 3 wickets each and two went at under 5.00 RPO. The catching too was up to scratch.

Fresh Tropical are out deserving first finalists and look like a team to beat! Kings XI will have to get their act together and try to press for Bronze, a little bit later in the day.
