The bowlers have indeed done their job for Malo here in the opening match of the Super Fives stage of ECS Portugal 2024. It seemed at the innings break that Malo were about 15-20 runs short. However, the effort from the bowlers has more than made up for it.

Gamblers got off to a decent start with Kuldeep Gholiya playing a nice cameo of 19 (14) up top. It was the spell bowled by Mian Shahid which helped to pull things back. He gave away only 14 runs and picked up 3 vital wickets to break the back of the batting.

Albeit, the Gamblers SC still kept on fighting. Amandeep Khokhar hit 2 fours and 2 sixes to bring them back in the hunt. But then, Syed Maisam bowled a brilliant 9th over to peg them back again. Adnan Gondal di the rest with his full and fast bowling in the last over.
