Saurashtra won the match by 90 runs

A comprehensive victory for the side. Powered on the back of an excellent 100 from Avi Barot, the Saurashtra bowlers put up an excellent display of bowling as they struck at regular intervals to disrupt the Goan batting innings and pick wickets to peg them back radically and make the game their own.

It all started with the fall of early wickets for Goa. Vaibhav Govekar fell as early as the third ball in the innings and gifted his wicket to Unadkat. Lakshay Garg was done in by a good short of a length delivery and fell to a caught and bowled, leaving Goa reeling on 7/2 after 2 overs. Later, Aditya Kaushik and Snehal Kauthankar held control as they steadied the ship and took the team's total to 40/2 after the end of 6 overs of the powerplay

Later following was a sandcastle falling to dumps and a collapse that looked like a house of cards falling apart. Snehal Kauthankar fell playing a loose stroke and holed one out to Dharmendra Jadeja at point. Aditya Kaushik also followed suit as he too was dismissed in the same manner as Kauthankar. Suyash Prabudessai too fell apart, failing to make any kind of an impact on the scoreboard.

Amit Verma was joined by his keeper, Eknath Kerkar, and strung a little steady moving partnership. In the end, Verma fell to a well-deceived ball from Chirag Jani and holed one out Mankad in the deep.  Darshan Misal was also dismissed cheaply, thus ending any or all hopes of winning the match.

Post that, it was just a matter of time as the Saurashtra bowlers whiffed past the tail and castled them in quick succession. They ended Eknath Kerkar's resistance and also cleaned up the tail quickly to ensure they win by a good margin and go atop on the table rankings. Their captain Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 3 wickets and gave away only 28 runs in the 4 overs he bowled.
18.4 Chirag Jani to Ashok Dinda, OUT! CAUGHT! Length ball outside off, Dinda swings across the line as he looks to heave it away. Ends up getting the top edge that flies high into the night sky. A dolly for the fielder at point and he makes absolutely no mistake.
18.3 Chirag Jani to Maliksab Sirur, yorker on the leg stump, whipped to long on for a single.
18.2 Chirag Jani to Maliksab Sirur, FOUR! SHOT! Length ball on the off stump, Sirur moves away, makes room and whacks that over the fielder at cover for a boundary!
18.1 Chirag Jani to Ashok Dinda, length ball on the middle stump, worked towards deep square leg for a single
End to yet another good spell from the Saurashtra captain, Jaydev Unadkat. He bowled his 4 overs really well and he has held on to his line and lengths really well and getting the 3rd wicket of the spell, getting Deepraj Gaonkar. Deepraj Gaonkar 14 (9) c Prerak Mankad b Jaydev Unadkat

Chirag Jani will bowl the last over of his spell and Ashoke Dinda, RHB, will be the last man to walk out for Goa
