It wasn't the easiest route, but Gorkha 11 get past the line and register their second win of the day! The match was shaping up to be really interesting towards the middle stages of the run-chase, with the Friendship CC bowlers keeping a lid on the batters. But then, Hardeep Singh's blitzkrieg 9-ball 32-run cameo took the game away from them completely!

Jayed Alam and Imtiaz Rana didn't let Gorkha 11 get anything out of the powerplay. Rahul Kumar and Waleed Imran had a hard time finding the boundaries, which, in turn, was pushing the required rate up by the minute. Gorkha 11 were in with a very good chance once both the openers departed by the 5th over. Faruk Ahmed tried to get going, he cleared the ropes on one occasion before holing out. It was then that Suman Ghimire was joined by Hardeep Singh, and from there, the match slipped out of Friendship CC's hands. The fact that they weren't able to hold on to their chances compounded to their problems as Hardeep and Ghimire kept finding the boundaries, and by the time the penultimate over came, Gorkha 11 already had a foot over the line.

Hardeep Singh, the game changer! He walked in and smashed Gorkha 11 past the line without any fuss! Friendship put up a fight, but they gave it away in the end!
