A fabulous and historic chase from Shivamogga Lions. They needed this win and had a fire in their belly that prompted them to knock off this mountain of runs and keep them alive and kicking in the tournament.

The Lions started off briskly as Nihal Ullal and Dheeraj Mohan picked up boundaries in the early part of the innings. Mohan was dismissed cheaply and so was Bharath Dhuri but Ullal and Manohar joined forces in the middle and kept the runs flowing. Ullal was dismissed after a solid knock and then it was the Abhinav Manohar show. He first joined Hardik Raj and raised the score at a quick rate before linking up with Rohan Naveen and dealing only in boundaries as the duo had a partnership of 74 runs in 27 balls, helping Shivamogga Lions get a third win under their belt.

It was a poor bowling show from the Mystics. Senior bowler Vyshak was taken for runs, despite picking up a wicket. Abhishek Prabhakar, Yashovardhan Pratap and Praveen Dubey were the others to pick up wickets but were equally or more expensive. Their fielding was subpar as well as they dropped Abhinav Manohar in the 17th over off the first ball, and then conceded a boundary off the next one.
