That'll be it! Himachal Pradesh win the match by five wickets and with 27 balls to spare! Amit Kumar hits the winning runs as HP make it to their second-ever semifinal appearance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This is also their first victory over Uttar Pradesh in this competition.

Chasing 208, Himachal Pradesh were the favourites to chase it down but UP's bowling attack was never to be underestimated. Shubham Arora and Prashant Chopra batted very cautiously in the Powerplay stage. They only got 22 runs on the board but made sure that they did not let the bowlers take early wickets. Shubham Arora soon fell to Shivam Mavi's short ball which brought Nikhil Gangta to the crease.

Nikhil and Prashant's partnership was the highlight of the victory. While the duo batted conservatively initially, they started to take on the bowling attack once Prashant crossed his half-century. Within no time, their partnership went from 50 to 100 and the run chase looked like a walk in the park.

Ankit Rajpoot broke the shackles and dismissed Gangta and the skipper Rishi Dhawan in the same over. He gave his side a small opening. Chopra on the other hand continued to score till he ran out of patience on 99, giving a sitter to mid-off. Shivam Mavi dismissed Sumeet Verma as well to complete a three-wicket haul.

Amit Kumar and Akash Vasisht held their nerves and scored the remaining 14 runs together to take Himachal Pradesh home.
45.3 Yash Dayal to Amit Kumar, HIMACHAL WINS!! On the length and angling across outside off, Kumar chips that one over covers clears the infield, and gets the winning run.
45.3 Yash Dayal to Amit Kumar, OHH DEAR!! NO-BALL, OVERSTEPPING!! Full and outside off, Kumar tries to cut that away but misses. Scores are tied and it's a free-hit coming up next
45.2 Yash Dayal to Amit Kumar, HELPED AWAY!! Banged in short into the body, Kumar waits back and pulls that away very fine down towards fine leg boundary for four. Just a couple of runs are needed now!!
45.1 Yash Dayal to Akash Vasisht, full and on the stumps, Akash turns that away towards deep square leg for a single. Himachal just one maximum away from a win-now!!
Not the best of the days for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In search of nailing the blockhole length, he has often hit the slot and allowed the batters to score freely. Only 7 needed off 30 now.

Runs: 9

This could've been a lot closer game had UP managed to break the 2nd wicket partnership earlier. Still, 6 overs to go and 13 runs are needed.
