Both captains get get their hands on the trophy, which will be shared by the two teams. While Ireland won the first game comprehensively, West Indies doubled down and returned their favor to their opponents in this game

Shai Hope (captain, West Indies): Very pleased, you have got to have the confident. Good to see the boys bounce back, we couldn't control the weather but then it is what it is. The think with being experienced is you look at it differently. You see guys playing games in the other formats and translate that here. (On Justin Greaves) He has always been a quality cricketer, brings a lot of quality and has been very consistent with the bat and has given wickets whenever handed the ball, with some death bowling skills as well. It is a great prep, didn't have cricket for a while and got a nice finish and we can take the momentum into the next series.

Paul Stirling (captain, Ireland): It was a bit of a struggle, we didn't hit the straps today. We didn't hit the right lengths today and with the bat West Indies were a lot better than us. We were a bit off with the ball and we paid the price. (On Jordan Niell and Josh Little) They are getting looked after, recovery will be a bit difficult, but we will monitor and see how things go. Yes, things got tough in the last 20 overs but then that is what cricket is. Next while, we will think about the T20s. West Indies come back, good bunch of T20s after that and we have got a huge year in that format.

Kaecy Carty (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): "It is good to come overseas and do well. The weather held up well today and we got the victory. We went back (after the first game) and tried to work on a few methods on how we will look to score if we encountered the same conditions. It worked for me."

Ireland began on a disastrous note as Andy Balbirnie was cleaned up by Jayden Seales early on. Paul Stirling took the charge to the bowlers and smashed a couple of maximums in one over to get to the milestone of 6000 runs in One day Internationals but Seales picked him and Harry Tector up in one over to make matters worse for the Irish. The opening powerplay thoroughly belonged to the visitors as they tightened the screws early on in the innings.

Cade Carmichael got together with Lorcan Tucker and the pair began to build up the partnership. Tucker was the first to go after the bowlers post which Carmichael came into his own and began to dominate. The pair put on 72 runs before Alzarri Joseph struck to remove Tucker. Things got even better for the visitors as Greaves came in to pick up Carmichael just two short of this 50. At the halfway stage of the innings, Ireland were five down and staring an embarrassing defeat.

That five down procession continued to get uglier as West Indies would prize wickets in the field. First, the opening delivery of a Roston Chase spell saw a set George Dockrell caught in the deep followed a magnificent direct hit at the bowlers end which saw Barry McCarthy tuck his willow under the armpit and march towards the dressing room. The final nail in the coffin came when Evin Lewis managed to get a hit right at the bowlers end and ended the game, with two Irish batters absent hurt.

29.5 Jayden Seales to Liam McCarthy, RUN OUT! West Indies seal the victory. After being battered in the first ODI of the series, they have pretty much dominated everything that has followed. However, with the second game washed off by rain, the series ends up 1-1. Back to the dismissal — Seales switched around the wicket for this one. Hurled it on a good length, outside off. McCarthy spooned it towards Lewis at cover, who flung himself forward, only to collect it on a half-volley. But he had the awareness and the agility to bring out a robust throw that hit the stumps at the no-striker's end, while McBrine was halfway down the pitch.

29.4 Jayden Seales to Liam McCarthy, bail-trimming length at the middle and leg. McCarthy gets bat on it and wanders down in the search of a non-existent run as the ball rolls towards point. Sent back.
