There is only one winner in this contest right from the word go. Italy restricted the opposition to a par total and in reply, Fernando got out for a duck but the early setback didn't plague the Italians as Sandhu and Perera made the scorecard ticking with boundaries at regular intervals.

Even after Sandhu fell, Sharif came up with a couple of lusty blows but it was Perera who took the responsibility to stay until the end to do the finishing duties. These two teams will lock horns once again in the third match of the day, so it's interesting to see whether Finland get revenge after a couple of hours time
