Scorecard
KIN-XI won by 3 wickets

Kings XI - 63/7 in 10 overs (Jaswinder Singh 26 off 17 balls, Faheem Nazir 2/4 in 2 overs) beat Jinnah Brescia - 62/9 in 10 overs (Rizwan Mohy Uddin 12 off 8 balls, Jagmeet Singh 3/7 in 2 overs) by 3 wickets.

This should have been an easier run chase but Kings XI made it difficult. They had the chance of finishing this game quickly by getting a move on, but their conservative approach almost got the better of them. Anyway, they managed to somehow claw their way to the target, thanks to Jaswinder Singh and the last ball winning run from Manjeet Singh. The bowling from Jinnah Brescia made full use of the defensive batting by taking wickets and putting on the squeeze. Anyway, that is all that we have from the group stage. We now head into five matches tomorrow as the Super Friday matches will be upon us. For now, this is the pair of Maanas and Bidipto, saying good bye!

9.6 Mubashar Hussain to Manjeet Singh, 1 run! Manjeet has done it! Tossed up and on the fourth stump line, Manjeet shimmies down the track and smacks that through the covers. Into the gap and the ball races away to the fence! However, the batters complete the single before the ball crosses the fence, resulting in only one run being recorded in the scorecard. A terrific shot to finish what has been an absolute edge-of-the-seat thriller here!
Jagjit Singh, RHB, is at the non-striker's end.
9.5 Mubashar Hussain to Manjeet Singh, OUT! RUN OUT! Full and on the fourth stump line, Manjeet drills that down to long off for a single. The batters take off for the second once again and this time, the bowler latches onto the throw and dislodges the bails to find Jaipal well short of his mark!

Jaipal Singh run out (Faheem Nazir/Mubashar Hussain) 4 (7)
9.4 Mubashar Hussain to Manjeet Singh, length ball on the middle stump spinning in, Manjeet drags that off the inside half of the bat towards deep mid-wicket. The batters take off for the risky second and the bowler fails to collect the throw. Whips off the bails with his hands instead and Jaipal makes it back.
9.3 Mubashar Hussain to Jaipal Singh, full ball outside off, Jaipal throws the kitchen sink at it and slices it towards sweeper cover for a single.
9.2 Mubashar Hussain to Jaipal Singh, length ball outside off angled across the right-hander, another wild heave across the line is to no avail.
9.1 Mubashar Hussain to Jaipal Singh, length ball outside off fired in, Jaipal has a wild hoick at that but fails to make any connection.
Mubashar Hussain [1.0-0-12-0] is back to bowl.

Six balls to go now, five runs to get. This is the equation right now with four wickets in hand, for Kings XI.

8.6 Ghulam Farid to Jaipal Singh, short of a length ball outside off, Jaipal throws the kitchen sink at it and under-edges that down to long on for a single.
8.6 Ghulam Farid to Jaipal Singh, WIDE! Fired in outside off and past the tramline once again. Some more exercise for the umpire!
8.6 Ghulam Farid to Jaipal Singh, WIDE! Attempts the yorker once again and this time, just gets it past the tramline on the off side. Will have to re-bowl that!
8.5 Ghulam Farid to Jaipal Singh, full ball outside off, Jaipal has a mighty heave-ho at it but to no avail. A rare dot ball!
8.4 Ghulam Farid to Manjeet Singh, DROPPED! Full ball on the fourth stump line, Manjeet swings hard and gets a little feather on it. The keeper drops a regulation catch and the batters scamper through for a single as well as the ball deflects into the off side.
8.3 Ghulam Farid to Manjeet Singh, advances and converts the length delivery into a full one. Opens the face of the bat and steers that towards backward point, where a misfield allows the batters to return for the second.
8.2 Ghulam Farid to Manjeet Singh, full and on the fourth stump line, Manjeet shuffles across and looks to go big downtown. The ball nips away just a touch and beats the outside edge.
8.1 Ghulam Farid to Jaipal Singh, into the blockhole and on the off stump line, Jaipal drills that down to long off for a single.
So now, with 51 on the board, and 13 runs remaining in 12 balls, one would think that Kings XI are the favoured side, but, anything can happen here with the tension in the match!
