Paarl Royals scored 131/4 in 15 overs.

It was a fantastic start to the innings for the visitors, as Jason Roy and Jos Buttler came out hammer and tongs to score the tournament's fastest team 50, and the hosts were in sixes and sevens, trying to figure out how to get the first wicket!

When they did get Buttler out, a lot of damage had already been done. Jason Roy continued in his merry way to get to an important half-century and contributions from Wihan Lubbe and Dane Vilas also came in handy. But with rain coming down and halting play after nine overs, things got just a bit more even with the home team coming back in the contest with some economical overs.

Donavon Ferreira was the best bowler on show for Faf du Plessis' team, picking up a wicket and giving away only 5 runs from his two overs.

In the end, David Miller was joined by Evan Jones with 5 overs to go, when the second rain break came calling. Sadly, not a ball could be bowled after that and the match got washed out, with both teams sharing points.

Paarl Royals now have 19 points from 9 games, whereas Joburg Super Kings have reached 18 points from 8 matches. While the former is second in the standings, the latter is currently third.
