Going by the previous matches it looks like the Kviberg strip pitch is suitable for batting. Although, the opening batsmen still need to give respect to the new ball for an over or two. The outfield gets progressively faster here and consequently its a good news for the strokemakers of the teams. Expect the teams winning the toss to bat first and pile a total around 100 on the scoreboard.
The weather forecast predicts sunshine with some amount of cloud cover throughout the rain. It can rain but the matches shouldn't be rain-curtailed. The temperature will remain around the 20 degree celsius mark and that should make for pleasant playing conditions for players.
JCA will be playing their second game of the day and after being acclimatised with the conditions will be looking to make some amends in the playing XI. WZC will be looking to get this one in the kitty and nearly stamp their passport for the knockout stages.

WZC sit atop pretty on the points table after winning both their matches yesterday and that too comprehensively. The team is firing all-cylinders in all the three departments and it will take a lot on part of JCA to reel them back in.

As a result of this, both sides will have to settle for one point each from this fixture. So, that’s all from me, Prashanth Satish and my fellow commentator, Kartik Iyer from this contest. The action is not over yet on Sportskeeda though as you can head to our coverage of the game between Hisingen CC and Seaside CC and hopefully, we get a good game of cricket.
Till we meet again Goodbye and STAY SAFE!
Scrap that update! The condition seems to have worsened and the unfortunate news coming in is that the MATCH HAS BEEN ABANDONED
GOOD NEWS! The rain seems to have stopped and the umpires are out on the pitch for an inspection. The conditions still look very damp, the ground staff have a job on their hands.
If you are unaware of the Golden Ball rule, here is what it is. In case of the match being tied, the side batting second is asked to get two runs of the next delivery, which is termed as the "Golden Ball", strikes a chord with the " Golden Goal " rule in football doesn't it. If they manage to get two runs off it, the side batting second wins else the fielding side earn the points
But he was dismissed off the last ball for the match to end in a tie and requiring a golden ball to decide the winner.
Requiring 9 runs for a victory off the last 3 balls, Usman Sarwar struck boundaries of the 4th and 5th ball of the over.
They lost a wicket right after the break and could only manage 5 runs off the 9th over as well.
There was a slight rain delay at the end of the 8th that seemed to have derailed their momentum.
After losing a well-set Umair Chaudhary off the first delivery of the 8th over, they only managed 5 runs in that over.
Seaside CC appeared to be chasing down the target in a canter. They were 68/2 after 7 overs, needing just 23 runs off 18 deliveries with 8 wickets in hand.
Continuing with the discussion on the match that was played earlier today.
There is no improvement in conditions from the ground as of now. We can only hope things get better. Things look very gloomy as it stands!
Both the teams scored 90/6 in their allotted 10 overs, resulting in the match to be decided via the Golden ball.
Seaside CC defeated Jonkoping CA in today's first match via the Golden ball.
