Just like all the other ECS matches,an artifical turf will be used for the Rome leg too. The pitch will assist the batters as the artifical pitch allows the ball to skid and reach the batsmen at a comfortable height. As for the bowlers, they need to constantly employ change ups in pace and length to keep the batsmen guessing.
According to Accuweather there will be extensive clud cover throughout the day with occassional thunderstorms expected. The temperature will be in low twenties, expect a lot of humidity.
Both the teams would be relatively unaware of the pitch behaviour, but one thing that would work to their advantage would be the fact that they would have already seen a match played on the strip and therfore they could make changes in their teams based on that.
Last 5 Head To Head
The ECS juggernaut has moved on to Rome and in the second match of the day Kings XI will be up against Jinnah Brescia Cricket Club and both teams will be looking to start off on a positive note.
