A nail-biting contest but it's KIN-XI that seals the match in the end by 5 runs. It was a stellar bowling display from KIN-XI to defend a par score and pick up their first win of the tournament.

After posting a par score of 93/5, KIN-XI made early inroads to put CIV on the backfoot right from the start of the chase.

After losing both openers (Zain Ali and Kuljinder Singh)in the powerplay, CIV was visibly struggling. However, it was their middle order that stabilized the innings after the early setback and steered the scoreboard.

Muhammad Arslan and Isra Munshi scripted a partnership of 22 runs for the third wicket before Ali Sadat took on the onus to himself.

Sadat single-handedly propelled the run-chase although KIN-XI kept on making continuous inroads. With 30 needed off 12 balls and the match evenly poised, Jagmeet Singh bowled a fantastic penultimate over to leak only 4 runs.

While Ali Sadat made one last onslaught with 26 required in the last six balls, KIN-XI came close but ultimately fell short by 5 runs.
