Scenes, proper scenes! Kristianstad, struggling to survive in the tournament, have just handed Alby Zalmi CC their first wicket of the season! Not that it wasn't expected after they kept the mighty batting lineup to just 89 in the first innings. But it got very very tricky at the end.

The openers did well for Kristianstad, especially Wafa, who put up a freakish show, going after everything that Alby Zalmi threw at him with full force and collecting boundaries with middle, top-edges, and leading edges on the way to his 12-ball 40. Kristianstad became very defensive once he got out, trying to wrest back control with a few wicketless overs but Mir Afzal turned the tables on them by picking two wickets in the eighth over. Kamran Rashid bowled an excellent ninth over and so did Usman Jabbar in the tenth but Gujer and Zaheer pounced on their slightest errors to collect a boundary each against them and win the match!

Kristianstad are still alive and kicking in the tournament and now have collected a bit of momentum, such matches are generally galvanizing. Alby Zalmi, meanwhile, will want to brush it off as a blip and work on their batting strategy.
