Right so, the Lyca Kovai Kings have thoroughly dominated the Dindigul Dragons and they're our first finalists of this year's TNPL! The Dragons though, will get another shot at the finals via Qualifier two! For now, it's Soumarya Dutta, taking your leave on behalf of my good friend and co-commentator Pradeep. See you soon.
B Sachin is the Player of the Match!
Dindigul Dragons 163/9 in 20 overs C Sarath Kumar 62(26) | M Mohammed 3/26 Boopathi Kumar 25(19) | Thamarai Kannan 2/33
Right so, C Sarath Kumar had given the Lyka Kovai Kings a real scare in the end but they've prevailed over the Dindigul Dragons by 30 runs! This has been an excellent effort from them and they were in control of the game from the very beginning as they kept getting wickets at regular intervals. The Dragons didn't get the partnerships early on and it was only skipper Baba Indrajith and Boopathi Kumar who got off to some sort of starts.
At the halfway stage, they looked dead and buried but at the fag end of the innings, Sarath Kumar launched a real onslaught on the spinners and he struck 7 sixes enroute his incredible knock of 62 from just 26 balls. He tried his best but there was hardly any support from the other end and he was waging a lonely battle from one end.
The Kovai spinners were good up front as they curtailed the runs and took the wickets. M Mohammed was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 3 wickets in his spell. Thamarai Kannan also picked up a couple while skipper Shahrukh Khan also chipped in a wicket, although he and the other two spinners had to bear the wrath of Sarath in the end.

19.6 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to Varun Chakravarthy, FOUR! LYCA KOVAI KINGS INTO THE FINALS! Dragons gave a bit of a scare towards the end, but Kings held on to their nerve. Length delivery on the fourth stump, Chakravarthy swings and takes the outside edge to third-man to find the ropes.
Varun Chakravarthy, RHB, comes to the crease.
19.5 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to P Saravana Kumar, OUT! HOLES OUT AT LONG-OFF! Another one bites the dust as Dragons are going through the motion now. Length delivery on the off-stump, Saravana clubbed it straight down the throat of Shahrukh!
P Saravan Kumar c Shahrukh Khan b V Yudheeswaran 2(3b, 0x4,0x6)
19.4 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to P Saravana Kumar, full on the stumps, Saravana drilled it to deep mid-wicket and they hare back for the brace.
19.3 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to P Saravana Kumar, full and angled it outside the off-stump, Saravana swings and misses, through to the keeper.
P Saravana Kuamr, RHB, comes to the crease.
19.2 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to Sarath Kumar M, OUT! BIG APPEAL FOR LBW AND GIVEN! Sarath goes for the review, more of hope though. Full on the middle and leg, Sarath walks across off-stump to clip but misses, thuds on the pad. UltraEdge confirms no bat involved. Ball tracking has THREE REDS, crashing into middle and leg. End of a sensational innings from Sarath, take a bow!
19.1 Valliappan Yudheeswaran to M Mathivannan, too full and angled in on the stumps, Mathivannan drilled it down to long-on for one.

18.6 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to Sarath Kumar M, SIX! MY WORD! Ridiculous hit from Sarath, what a shot that. He switches to become a left-hander and has CLOBBERED it out of the ground over deep extra-cover for a humongous maximum. Glenn Maxwell needs to watch this and he'll be mighty proud of Sarath!
18.5 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to Sarath Kumar M, back of a length on the sixth stump, Sarath walks across off-stump to swipe but misses again.
18.4 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to Sarath Kumar M, low full toss, wide of off-stump. Sarath down on one knee and mistimes the drive to long-off for another dot.
18.3 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to Sarath Kumar M, length delivery, wide of off-stump, Sarath shuffles long way across off-stump to ramp but misses it, another dot. Might just be too much now for Sarath to pull off a heist here!!
18.2 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to Sarath Kumar M, change of pace, short and outside the off-stump. Sarath swings across but mistimed it to long-on, wants to keep the strike as he denies the single to Mathivannan!
18.1 K Gowtham Thamarai Kannan to M Mathivannan, DROPPED! That was in the air forever, fielder from deep mid-wicket runs in, dives but spills it. Mathivannan hits a skier and they pick up a single.
Sarath Kumar is giving the Lyca Kovai Kings a real scare here and this game is far from being over. The Dragons still need a massive 45 from two overs but with Sarath Kumar still out there, it's not impossible.
