This has been one of the greatest ever run chases in the history of ECS! Kristianstad were down and out after two overs as they were 4/4, however they recovered magnificently from there and ended up winning the game by 5 wickets with about 2 overs to spare!

Skipper Ihsanullah Wafa played an incredible knock of 72 runs from just 20 balls! He smashed the bowlers all around the park and effectively ended the game in just two overs! Akmal Popal gave him great support at the other end and managed to hold on! Once Wafa was gone, Popal stepped up to the task and ended the game with a couple of lusty blows!

It was all Marsta for the first 5 overs of the game but they lost their way from there on! Once Wafa launched a counter attack they just didn't have any answers to him! The use of their premium bowlers within the powerplay itself also proved to be costly for them as they didn't really have any specialists at the death to save the game for them!

8.1 Hamid Sulehri to Farhad Sahak, FOUR! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Wafa, the hero is being covered around in the field by his teammates as Kristianstad win the Bronze Final and finish third in the competition with that. Full toss outside the off-stump, Sahak swings but takes the outside edge, down to third-man for a boundary. What a win, from being 4-4, they storm back into the game and won the game in style with plenty of deliveries still to spare.

Akmal Popal has arrived and he is taking the charge here! KCC need just 2 runs to win from here on and it's only a formality!
