It's a bit of a funny dismissal to end the innings but there's nothing amusing about the Renegades' bowling effort. They have absolutely blown away the Strikers!

Before the innings started, 167 looked like a decent par score. But the Renegades defended it like their lives depended on it. Hayward was absolutely stunning with the new ball and was given four overs of spin on trot. Her tight lines and lengths kept the run-rate in check and sent both openers away cheaply.

Patterson and McGrath tried to build a partnership but the former got runout. Another small partnership followed and after the 10th over it looked it could go anywhere in the power surge. But skipper Matthews brought her back against McGrath and got the ever-accurate Coyte from the other end. The Strikers had to get to attack and lost wickets in heaps.

Wareham and Kaur finished things up with their set plans of keeping it straight and asking the batters to attack. A massive win like this would give the Renegades even more momentum in the tournament.

Schutt tries to work it away to the on side but does not get all of it. The ball takes the cue end of her bat and drops back onto the stumps. A poor way to end the innings, but it ends nonetheless. The Renegades win this game by quite a comfortable margin in the end!
