The Big Bash action continues as we have the table toppers Brisbane Heat hosting the Hurricanes tomorrow. Join us for that one.

The Sixers only have 2 remaining fixtures - the Sydney Smash on January 12 before they take on the Perth Scorchers on the 16th of January. So, they will enjoy some down time till then, having done pretty well so far and not having done their qualification chances any harm.

The Stars will look for answers, particularly because their Net Run Rate is the worst amongst all teams. They will need to regroup in their week off as well because they do not play until next Saturday where they will face their cross-town rivals, the Renegades!

James Vince is the Player of the Match, here's what he has to say: It was good. The bowlers did a spectacular job in the second half. It wasn't the easiest of wickets but 150 was enough. It was the sort of the wicket where you couldn't let the run-rate climb a lot. Apart from the previous game against them, I'd like a few more runs in this competition. I didn't think I have been in too bat of a nick. You want to peak at the back end of the competition. Hopefully we have saved our best cricket. Murphy is a top class bowler. Great effort all around. Maybe Smudge can play in the middle order! Nah, it'll be great to have him back.

As Aaron Finch put it beautifully while on-air, the experience of winning titles comes through during tough chases like these in important parts of the season and that's exactly why Sixers have always found ways to get those 2 points more often than not.

It was never an easy chase with the ball spinning and lots of turn for the slow bowlers. But James Vince and Daniel Hughes proved why they are worth their weight in gold for this Sydney Sixers unit.

The Stars bowlers could not really restrict their opposition batters on a day when there was plenty on offer for them from the wicket. Apart from Imad Wasim who momentarily asked questions, there was hardly anyone else who put their hands up and that would be an area of worry for Maxwell and Co. as we head to the final stages of the tournament.

18.1 Joel Paris to Jordan Silk, EASY PEASY! Sixers start a turn around and Stars lose their first in five! Full on the pads, Silk flicks it off to deep square leg and it slowly reaches the boundary. Sixers complete a big, important win with seven wickets to spare!
