And Milan Kingsgrove are the Bronze Champions! After Tharindu Nimantha's innings completely blew away the Milan United, all they could manage from their ten overs was a mere 75 runs. None of the batters really got going and they found it difficult to negotiate the Kingsgrove bowlers. The top order played painstakingly slow knocks and it was only Heshan who showed some intent at the crease. Ended up losing just four wickets and they certainly could have gone harder at the total. In the bowling scheme of things, it was Jayasinghe who stepped up once again, snaring a three-fer, his second of the day. Apart from Dissanayakage, who was given a token over at the end, the others were pretty economical and did not let the United have a sniff at a win. A comfortable win for the Kingsgrove and they will be pleased that they will not go home empty-handed from this tournament.
