That brings an end to our coverage of this exciting ECS contest. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live commentaries as well as the latest news. This is me, Avik Bose and my colleague,Sameer Deodhar, signing off.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, MSF were right on the spot from the very beginning. They had a plan and executed that to perfection. Dashed on to a quick 65/2 from the first 5 overs, they looked in line for a big total on board. Ameer top-scored with 36 from 16 balls and Adel Khan partnered him well with a blazing knock of 30 from 15 balls. P.Singh chipped in with a useful cameo of 21 off 8 balls making sure that the run-feast continued. For LCO, Sher Miran took 2 wickets but gave away some 37 odd runs, Sadakat and Sher Hask struck a blow each but could not prevent the flow of runs. MSF reached a total of 133/4 from their 10 overs and presented an up-hill task for the chasing team.

LCO started slowly in their chase and were looking good to go gung-ho with 35/2 from 4 overs but from then on, their innings simply started to fall apart. Boundaries dried up, wickets tumbled and runs were pretty hard to come by. Atif Shams top-scored for them with 21 from 14 balls, Sher Hask and Sher Yasin remained not out on 8 each from 11 and 18 balls respectively. Their innings simply lacked proper intent. From the bowling department, it was an exceptional display. Muslim Yar took 2 wickets for just 8 runs in his 2 overs, Adel Khan produced an economical spell of 2 overs, ending with figures 12/2 and Daud Muhammed struck a blow without even conceding a run. LCO fell way short and finished on 61/5 from their 10 overs.

MSF thus won by 72 runs and record their so craved first victory of the tournament.
