It was an absolute rollercoaster of a ride. The match ebbed and flowed going through enthralling twists and turns. Though, Nellai Royal Kings faltered in the final lap, they entertained us all.

The match began with a searing yorker from Emmanuel Cherian that uprooted the stumps and sent Amith Sathvik packing. Though, that did not deter the spirits of the IDTT batters who displayed purposefulness and positive intent which helped them notch up the highest powerplay score of the season. That set the platform for a big score and despite some tight bowling in the middle overs, IDTT were hence, able to set a a target of 190.

The chase began on the right note for NKR with their skipper hitting the very first ball for a six. In fact, Arun Karthik led from the front and ended up scoring a half century despite wickets falling at regular intervals from the other end. Then, Sai Kishore called upon the ever so consistenet T Natarajan, who picked up the wicket of the NKR skipper. However, the game was not yet done.

Rithik Easwaran and Sonu Yadav stitched together a partnership that not only brought them back but also put them in the proximity of the target. But then, a brilliant over from Ramalingam Rohit cut them short and helped IDTT win the match.
