Right then! Pakistan could've easily been on the wrong side of the result, but somehow, they kept their calm and completed the series whitewash. Heartbreak for Netherlands but they should be proud with their Cricket throughout the series as they came close to the finish line on two occasions.
Pakistan will gear themselves for the upcoming Asia Cup and their much-awaited tussle against India happen next Sunday in Dubai. Netherlands, on the other hand, finished their cricketing summer now and there is nothing scheduled for them until the T20 world cup. Now, it's time to end our coverage and hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Pradeep saying goodbye and goodnight
Babar Azam (Captain, Pakistan): Really happy with the team's performance, all credit to the guys, they bowled really well in the second innings. Definitely proud of Naseem Shah, he's bowled really well up front and in the death, also Wasim and Dahani not to forget have been impressive. We tested our bench strengths, earlier the ball wasn't coming on to the bat, we were short of plenty of runs and credit to the Dutch bowlers to bowl in the right areas.
Scott Edwards (Captain, Netherlands): Credit to the guys, they played exceptionally well but just couldn't get over the line which was disappointing, little bit of inexperience in the backend, couple of crucial dismissals that cost us the game. All the bowlers played their role really well, Logan, Bas and Vivian up front, they have been incredible. It's sort of caps of the summer, lot of improvement from the boys, probably three or four chances throughout the summer to get a win on the board, we just couldn't quite get over the line.
Naseem Shah has been awarded the Player of the Match for his sensational bowling!
Naseem Shah: Thanks to god. I extracted the pace off the surface early on in the innings that was on offer. I bowled in good areas. I think the pitch has been good, just needed to land in the right areas. Important for me, my ODI career has just begun and thanks to all the crowd to come in big number to support us.
Pakistan beat Netherlands by 9 runs Babar Azam 91(125) | Tom Cooper 62(105) Naseem Shah 5-33(10) | Bas de Leede 3-50(9)
The Dutch hopes were shattered by one man and he is none other than Naseem Shah. What a spell was that from the young fast bowler as he bailed the team out whenever they were in trouble and finished with impressive figures of 5-33.
The bowlers did well for the hosts to restrict Pakistan to a below-par score but it's always to go be tough to chase this score against the world-class pace attack. Naseem Shah ran through the top order and the Dutch were reduced to 36-3. They found some momentum in the middle period, all thanks to the partnership between Vikramjit Singh and Tom Cooper.
Vikramjit started slowly but somehow found his groove and scored a half-century, while Cooper played a fighting knock and kept the Dutch firmly in the contest. Teja Nidamanuru scored some handy runs in the middle but Naseem Shah knocked his stumps over before Wasim Jr ended Cooper's long stay in the 46th over, much to the agony of the Dutch fans in the stadium.
Netherlands came close but not close enough. Anyhow, they should be proud of their Cricket throughout the summer
The Pakistan fans at the stands are in delight as Babar Azam & co edged past the Netherlands by 9 runs to complete the whitewash. What a cracking game it turned out to be and kudos to Netherlands for fighting tooth and nail until the final over
49.2 Mohammad Wasim to Aryan Dutt, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! IT'S ALL OVER! Pakistan hold their nerve and clean-sweep the Dutch but spare a thought for the hosts, they played some real good cricket today but agony for them in the end. Full toss on the off-stump, Dutt backs away and throws his bat at it and misses, crashes on the off-stump and Pakistan are relieved in the end as they get over the line.
49.1 Mohammad Wasim to Aryan Dutt, FOUR! Well, well, what a start to the over, is there still hope for the Dutch? Dutt clears his front foot and hoicks it, skews off the inside edge and beats the man in the circle, runs away and picks out the ropes.
Mohammad Wasim (9-0-32-3) comes back into the attack
Netherlands need 14 runs to win from 6 balls
Two wickets in that over and Naseem Shah ends his magnificent spell with a fifer to his name. Turned out to be a game-defining spell for the young fast bowler

48.6 Naseem Shah to Aryan Dutt, OH! Searing yorker, Naseem almost with a six-for, tailed in and Dutt jams his bat to it and squeezes it into the on-side for a tight single.
48.5 Naseem Shah to Vivian Kingma, back of a length on the outside off, Kingma scythes it to backward point for a sharp single.
48.4 Naseem Shah to Vivian Kingma, back of a length on the stumps, Kingma survives as he manages to defend it into the on-side.
Vivian Kingma, RHB, walks in at no.11
48.3 Naseem Shah to Shariz Ahmad, RUN-OUT! Shariz comes back for a despairing second but he finds himself well short. Bullet throw from Wasim from fine-leg, the keeper collects it and whips the bails off. Shariz tucked the back of a length delivery off his hips, down to fine-leg, they had to come back for a second and Shariz departs.
Shariz Ahmad run out (Mohammad Wasim/Mohammad Haris) 5 (8b 0x4 0x6)
48.2 Naseem Shah to Shariz Ahmad, length delivery, angles into Shariz on the fourth stump, he taps it into the off-side but there was no run there.
48.2 Naseem Shah to Shariz Ahmad, WIDE! Comes around the wicket, angles into Shariz and ends up straying it down the leg-side, called a wide.
It's a fifer for Naseem Shah. What a great moment this for the young fast bowler, who has rattled the hosts with his searing pace so far
48.1 Naseem Shah to Logan van Beek, OUT! PICKS OUT DEEP MID-WICKET AND GONE! Naseem gets his fifer, a game to remember for the youngster. Back of a length on the off-stump, van Beek heaves that one away but he's picked out the deep mid-wicket, goes straight into the hands and the Dutch's wheels are coming off now!
Logan van Beek c Mohammad Nawaz b Naseem Shah 8 (11b 0x4 0x6)
