Gorkha 11 win the match by 52 runs

It was really sorry show of batting from the Oporto CC here. They clearly lacked intent in their chase and failed to get some boundaries from the middle of the at throughout the chase. Kanaka Sabapathy failed to set the ball rolling as he could only contribute with a run. Junaid Khan also showed little promise at his brief stay but soon perished owing to a loose stroke. Syed Rashid and James Graham lost their wicket too soon, with the former finding himself short of the crease, while the latter being castled away by a peach. Anthony Chambers was the only man out in the middle to carry his bat all the way, bit couldn't make a lasting impact as he played a knock of 27 runs in 38 balls- a rare knock to be seen in a T10 game.

The bowlers were the star of the show as the chase was brilliantly set up in the powerplay by the bowlers. Rahul Bharadwaj, Manjit Singh, Madhukar Thapa, Arsalan Naseem did really well as they were economical with the ball in hand and also did pretty well to take wickets and keep the pressure on the batting side.
Over: 10 | Summary: 0 6 2 0 1 W Bowler: Arslan Naseem Score: 49/5
9.6 Arslan Naseem to James Graham, OUT! CASTLED! Good length delivery on the stumps, that kept low as well. Graham was too early into the shot and misses, goes and crashes on to the stumps. Gorkha finish the annihilation here as they win by a huge margin and notch up another couple of points and stay on top!
9.5 Arslan Naseem to Anthony Chambers, change of pace, full delivery on the outside off as Chambers little early into the shot and taps it on the on-side for a single
9.4 Arslan Naseem to Anthony Chambers, too full on the outside off as Chambers makes room and whacks it straight to the non-strikers stumps and the Umpire moves away as they decide not to take the single
9.3 Arslan Naseem to Anthony Chambers, full delivery on the middle and leg as Chambers whips that one away to the deep mid-wicket region as they finish the single and they come back for a brace as there were overthrows
9.2 Arslan Naseem to Anthony Chambers, SIX! BOOM! Full and in the slot for Chambers as he hangs back and waits for and POWERS that one way over the long-on boundary for a maximum. Chambers gave everything to it!
9.1 Arslan Naseem to Anthony Chambers, full delivery and right up in the blockhole as Chambers looks to whack that one away but inside edges on to his pads
Fial formalities remain as Gorkha 11 have been the better of the two sides here. They have restricted the batting side in the powerplay really well and asserted their dominance throughout the game as they have successfully managed to defend their total
Over: 9 | Summary: 0 W 0 1 0 0 Bowler: Mohammad Siraj Nipo Score: 40/4
8.6 Md Siraj Nipo to James Graham, another good length delivery on the outside off as Graham looks to heave it away but misses again, another dot to finish the over
8.5 Md Siraj Nipo to James Graham, good length delivery on the outside off, that was fired it in and Graham completely misses it, dot ball
8.4 Md Siraj Nipo to Anthony Chambers, full delivery on the outside off as Chambers makes room and swats that one down the ground to long-off for a single
8.3 Md Siraj Nipo to Anthony Chambers, short delivery on the outside off as Chambers looks to cut that one away but gets beaten by pace in the end
James Graham, RHB, is the new man in
8.2 Md Siraj Nipo to Anthony Chambers, RUN-OUT! Another yorker length on the outside off as Chambers looks to dig it out but gets the inside edge as Rashid was half-way down the track but was sent back by Chambers and he's well short of the crease the keeper runs, collects and darts in the throw in the end
8.1 Md Siraj Nipo to Anthony Chambers, tossed up, too full on the outside off as Chambers hangs back to whack that one away on the off-side but misses
Another wicket falling in the over and Oporto CC has barely managed to touch the run rate of 5 runs per over even after 8 overs. There has been clearly lack of intent by the batsmen as they are not able to bat properly or rotate strike and are swinging in thin air
