An edge-of-the-seat thriller and the Exiles reigned supreme eventually. It was an interesting choice to bowl Abdul Rehman in the final over after he conceded 22 runs in his first over. But he is the skipper of the side, and he took the responsibility but failed to get the job done. Kalim set the tone by going all guns blazing in the powerplay as the Exiles were raced to 46/0 at the end of three overs

The boundaries and sixes were scored all around the park as Kalim reached his half-century in just 19 balls. Amer Hussain got rid of him but Faisal Mehmood kept his cool and steered his side home with three balls to spare.
